My name is Michelle. I’ve had a love and calling for art as far back asI remember. Since I was a little girl I have dabbled in all forms of expression. My first art piece to be in an art show was from the second grade.
I continued to experiment with various art forms while still in school, even participating in the musical Little Shop of Horrors as both an actor and prop designer.
As I grew so did my art. This water color is from a high school art show.
The self portrait won a curator award in a Self-Portrait Art Show at MSU.
While I played with dark room photography, sculpting, bead work and latch hooking, I found my true calling in sketching and painting. This time last year I hand painted wine glasses, beer steins and candle holders for Christmas gifts. It became a love affair that I developed into a business.
One fine day my cousin recruited me to paint ostrich eggs for her bridesmaids gifts. I gladly accepted the challenge and found myself wrapped up in another love affair that added ostrich egg painted to my repertoire.
